| So I'm definately not on this much anymore... Myspace me! http://www.myspace.com/muckid | | |
| Alrighty, so I was accepted to MSU and I'll be leaving to move into my apartment on the 26th. I'm happy and all that, but I'm not quite ready for the summer to be over. The weather has been beautiful and I'm dreading the upcoming winter! I suppose that's all I've got for today... | | |
| Hi there and hello again :) I know, I know, updating TWO times in one week is awesome. Lol. Anyway, so far from the schools I've applied to I have been accepted to Northern Michigan University, and Adams State College which is in the big CO. I'm still waiting to hear from MSU, Adrian, Olivet, and the University of Montana. Hopefully all the answers will come back soon so that I can make a decision about where I'll be going in the fall. The job search is still ongoing... Haven't found one yet, unfortunately. If anyone knows of any place that is hiring let me know, it would be greatly appreciated! In other news, Brookey will be home from London next month! I'm so excited it is not even funny. On the other hand Dustin is leaving for Colorado, Crystal is leaving for TN, and Becca is going to Mississippi. :( Everybody needs to just stay home and hang out with me, I'm pretty sure. Alrighty well I suppose I should get something done (i.e. cleaning) even if it doesn't sound very appealing. Talk to you all after later | | |
| Wow. I think that is all I have to say at the moment. I can't believe what a blessing and a curse the internet/xanga/myspace/facebook can be. On the one hand it helps a lot of us keep in touch and share little snippets of our lives with our friends. We stay connected and are able to stay relatively close to good friends. On the other hand it serves to demonstrate how depraved today's society/youth truly is. While bouncing around xanga I was shocked at the kinds of things that 12 and 13 year old children are talking about. And yes I say children because that is what they are at such a young age. For the most part I'm able to look at the world in a way which is optimistic, but when you realize that todays children are acting in a way that would be unexpected in even older generations, I become slightly worried... no make that extremely worried about the future of our world. What will become of society when teenage sex and drug abuse are now so widely practiced, and dare I say, even accepted by today's world. A situation that I feel is made vastly worse by the liberal media and the vastness of the internet. Now I ask, what can we do? I refuse to believe that when others say that it is an unstoppable progression that we must simply sit back and watch as innocent children transform into morally lost souls. So I encourage all of those out there with children, younger siblings, cousins, even young friends to be a light for the younger generation to follow. Remember that you are watched closely by those who look up to you, so do your best to maintain a shining example of how those younger than you should behave. | | |
| Well hey there. I'm sitting in my business class waiting for the prof. to get here. This past week has been insanely stressful for me. I had SO much homework, a take home test, AND I had/still have to study for finals next week. It's exciting that we are nearing the end of the semester (done next week YES), but the last two weeks are always crazy busy. Hopefully tomorrow I'll be able to make it in to apply for a job that I want. Cross your fingers that it goes well! Well I suppose that is all for now. Talk to you all after later.
